Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP)
CLMP is the statewide program administered by Michigan State University Extension. About 220 of the over 10,000 lakes in Michigan participate in the CLMP each year. ALPOA has participated for many years, deeming it an important purpose of its mission and very existence. ALPOA is able to do so with the funding afforded by membership dues. - 2020 Water Quality Report – Funding for the CLMP program was exhausted in 2019 and the program was suspended for 2020. Nevertheless, ALPOA volunteers did continue to monitor the clarity of the water throughout 2020.
